First Sino-Euro Think Tank Symposium

This was the result of a collaboration with the Chinese Think Tank Research & Evaluation Centre (CTTREC) at Nanjing University and the Sino-Euro Think Tank Communication Association (SETTCA), based in Manchester.

Fifteen renowned Chinese scholars traveled to Freiburg to discuss current developments in North-South and South-South relations under the title “China and Europe in the Global South: New Avenues to Peace, Prosperity, and Sustainability?” The event also gathered senior and junior researchers from Russia, Southeast Asia, Europe, as well as North and Latin America. The symposium fostered a fruitful platform for scholarly exchange on a timely topic.
