On October 25 and 26, 2023, the Wissenswerte fair took place in Freiburg. Wissenswerte is the largest conference for German-language science journalism and takes place at a different location every year.
In Freiburg, the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute was represented at the University of Freiburg stand, two colleagues gave expert inputs and engaged in conversation with visitors to the fair.
As a political science institute with expertise in contexts of the Global South, the ABI was an enrichment for the otherwise strongly natural science and medical focused fair.
New contacts were made with editorial offices, freelance journalists and colleagues from the field of science communication.
