Advisory services for the Results-based Monitoring (RBM) System: Support to good governance in Pakistan (GIZ)

In 2014, advisory services for the GIZ project 'Support to good governance in Pakistan" included the development of a RBM system along six process steps by applying the GIZ standard tools Results Model and Results Monitor. With four different result areas (public administrative reform, fiscal reform, support to statistics, and prevention of violence against women) this project features high complexity. In accordance with the minimal standards of the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for projects that are implemented in the context of conflict, fragility and violence, the RBM system has been designed in a conflict-sensitive manner. Moreover, training sessions on indicator selection and development have been conducted. In the following year, the ABI will complete the comparative perspectives assessment (KOMPASS) which is based on qualitative methods and captures opinions and perceptions of partners and stakeholders.
