Country Reports and Expert Advice (German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development), German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bertelsmann-Foundation etc.)

The academic staff at the ABI regularly compiles country reports. In 2014, several reports were issued for the Bertelsmann Transformation Index (BTI), the BMZ/GIGA (German Institute of Global and Area Studies) “Political-Economic Short Analyses” and the BMZ/GIGA “Crisis Indicator Measurement.” In addition to these activities, the institute’s academic staff participated in expert discussions with government ministries and cooperation and development organizations, e.g. the African Discussion Group of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
