Dr Tim Glawion is a skilled political analyst and field researcher on issues of local security and civil war in fragile states. He has investigated conflict and peace in the Central African Republic, Egypt, Kenya, Haiti, South Sudan, and Somaliland. Tim Glawion speaks six languages (Arabic, English, French, German, Somali, Creole), and has completed his BA (Heidelberg University,) MA (King’s College London), and doctoral studies (University of Freiburg). He regularly publishes in top academic and media outlets, and advises the United Nations, German government officials as well as civil society organizations.
