ABI Library Opening Hours in the Summer Term

This summer term, the opening hours of the ABI library change slightly.
 

The new opening hours are as follows:

Monday              9am-2pm
Tuesday             9am-4pm
Wednesday       9am-2pm
Thursday           9am-2pm
Friday               10am-4pm
 

The ABI library hosts one of the largest and best-sorted collections in Germany – with a particular focus on social, cultural and political developments in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. The collection focuses in particular on the institute’s main areas of work and research. It also includes key works in the social sciences, economics, religious studies, and philosophy, as well as numerous works from the countries themselves. 

The library has a bright, quiet reading room and is open to the public. During the lecture period, it is possible to check out books and media over the weekend.
