For the ERC-funded project "The Political Lives of Migrants: Perspectives from Africa (PolMig)", the ABI is calling for applications for two positions as Post-Doctoral Researcher (100%) and for one position as Doctoral Researcher (65%).
Focusing on Africa, PolMig considers how migrants define political agency, enabled or disabled by politicisation processes of belonging in postcolonial state contexts. Drawing on this research, PolMig advances an Afrocentric understanding of political migrant agency with global relevance.
The positions are scheduled to last for four years from 1st May 2025 until the 30th April 2029.
