Alke Jenss talks about her book "Selective Security" together with Dr. Alonso Ramirez from the University of Costa Rica (Centro de Investigación y Estudios Políticos, CIEP) in the podcast "Fuera de la caja". She explains how security policy in Mexico and Colombia in the so-called "war on drugs" stabilised a neoliberal economic system and at the same time sorted people into different categories.
