| © ABIThe PolMig project team is feeling invigorated following a highly successful first meeting with their advisory board.
The first annual advisory board meeting was dedicated in particular to joint reflections on research ethics in preparation of the team's first fieldwork phase.
The hybrid meeting was marked by a spirit of collaborative and critical engagement, providing invaluable direction for the project's future. The distinguished advisory board members, comprising leading international scholars, activists, and practitioners, offered excellent advice and constructive critique.
The ERC-funded project is dedicated to ethically advancing an Afrocentric understanding of the complex politics of migration agency, identity, and belonging as well as epistemic justice. The team is now looking forward to integrating the board's advice as they continue to develop and refine their research ideas, laying a strong foundation for a fruitful upcoming first fieldwork phase.
